Barbara Ewald grew up on the East Coast where her oldest daughter Erika had the distinction of being crowned Miss Massachusetts Teen USA 1995.  During her daughter’s reign, Barbara was diligent in scheduling appearances, numerous events and fundraisers to highlight her year, and has since worked with many of the other Miss USA State pageants as a key member of staff.  In addition, Barbara has worked with many Teen and Miss USA State Titleholders in preparation to compete in the nationally televised Miss Teen USA and Miss USA pageants.  

 

Barbara supports various local, state and national philanthropic organizations as a wish grantor for the Make A Wish Foundation for the past 16 years, and supports The Arthritis Foundation Children’s Fashion Show, Best Buddies, Glam Doll Strut, Deliver The Dreams, and the Ronald McDonald’s House to name a few.   She feels privileged to be able to serve as State Director for the Miss Connecticut USA and Miss ConnecticutTeen USA pageants.
